Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from a Hotel in Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Pick up at 8:00 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Tanzania’s third popular National Park as it’s known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape and elephants paradise.
The Tarangire River is the main source of water. During the dry season, big predators roam around and wait for other animals to come to search for water. This park is famous for some largest herds of elephants in Tanzania’s northern park. Animals to be seen: pride of lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffaloes, Oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. Evening drive to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner Included
Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge
Day 2: Karatu - Lake Manyara National Park
After morning breakfast departs for Lake Manyara National Park for Game Viewing and Photographs. Picnic lunch at msasa. Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-meter-high rift valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic Gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The Park hosts larger herds of elephants, buffalos, zebras, and over 300 different species of birds. Dinner and Overnight
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha / Airport
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque conservation is its dense population of predators, which include pride of lions, hyenas, jackals, seldom cheetahs, and leopards, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.
Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late
afternoon transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight or airport drop off. (Accommodation can be included upon request at extra cost)
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch Included
